Infusing SEL into authentic learning experiences provides students with opportunities to make connections and to apply these essential skills in everyday experiences. Teaching SEL skills and competencies in isolation isn’t nearly as effective as integrating them across the curriculum. In this session, we will identify opportunities to successfully integrate SEL and create a crosswalk between SEL and academic objectives. Teachers will learn and apply these strategies to create SEL-infused activities for their own classrooms.
